Five easy steps to juicy joy

Raise your hand if you are outrageously happy, jump out of bed each morning and shout “Hello World!”, perform work that you love, have healthy relationships, abundant health, feel good about money, and live your life from love and not fear? (Is that crickets I hear?). So do you want that joyful life, or do you want to stay as you are? (Cue the standing ovation!)

Do these 5 über easy steps everyday and you will easily shift to a juicy joyful path.

1.  Large order of gratitude with orange juice, please.

If you start each day with a glass of orange juice (which infuses your energy field with the sacral chakra color of orange to give you energy, vitality and creativity), then be sure to add a large side order of gratitude. Start each day writing down or mentally reciting 5-10 things that you are grateful for and it will absolutely change your vibration to one that is eager, expectant, and positive. Even better, create a Gratitude Journal so that months and years later you can look back and see your progress! When you go through your day, an attitude of gratitude will give you an eager/expectant/positive vibration that will begin to draw in things to make you feel even more eager/expectant/positive. That vibration will then overshadow what you typically look for (and receive) that are annoying throughout the day (i.e., gridlock traffic, energy vampires at work, unexpected deadlines, no money in the bank account until payday, etc.). Start your day off on the right foot … gratitude + juicy oranges to supercharge a juicy day!

2.  End your relationship with fear.

Humans operate from two primary and primal emotions: fear and love. Which controls you throughout the day? For most people, it is fear. We don’t do this intentionally. Our subconscious controls more of our thoughts, beliefs, and actions than we give it credit for. It also soaks up our surroundings like a sponge. When we look around us, things are frankly going bonkers these days. We’re in a massive energy shift, solar flares abound that can cause unexpected outbursts of anger, there’s endless violence, and we’re all feeling a bit off kilter. If you watch the news (CNN = Constantly Negative News), all you hear about are wars, mass shootings, abductions, financial worries, political collapses. Is nothing good anymore? No wonder most people operate from a place of fear. Here’s the trick to living a juicy joyful life … you need to start operating from a place of love and kick fear in patootie. Easier said than done? Not really. It’s time for you to breakup with fear.

Decide3.  Juice up your heart chakra.

Okay, so you’re concerned about how dial down the fear and dial up the love? So let me whisper this really deep secret on how to juice up your heart chakra and shine the love. You simply have to decide to do this. Our conscious mind is very powerful (despite that pesky micro-managing subconscious) and science is proving everyday that our intentions shape our world. So everyday, you must must must set an intention that you will go forth into the world with love. When you do this you will start to notice only those things that resonate with love, you will start to see more people/things/situation that resonate with love, you will respond to stressors with love, and that you will ooze love even to those people who you judgmentally believe don’t deserve it.

So turn off the news, go onto your social media pages and look for those heartwarming stories of people helping people, people helping animals, animals helping animals, and those pay-it-forward stories. What you focus on is what will present itself to you. You need to choose what you focus on, and only focus on good.

If you love crystals, grab those pink and green crystals and pile them onto your heart chakra in the middle of your chest. Even just 10 minutes a day lying with these crystals will open your heart chakra.

Recite affirmations that ooze love. Try these on for size:

  • I love and approve of myself just the way that I am.
  • I only see the good and love in everything.
  • I am surrounded by love and generosity everyday.

i only see the good and loveYou may feel uncomfortable at first, but just do it! Dial up the healing on your heart chakra and you will notice more things to love than fear in no time.

4.  One daily act of kindness to self, por favor.

When you do something kind for another, you feel good about it right? But when is the last time that you were kind to yourself? Everyday, without fail, you must be kind to yourself. So many people berate themselves (verbally or through their inner voice) and it wears down your energy and makes you vulnerable to negativity. Just image yourself as a three-year-child. Would you berate him/her the way that you berate yourself? Of course, not. There are so many ways simple ways for you to be kind to yourself everyday:

  • Start your day with that luxurious shower gel that you think you can’t afford (go for it, you’re worth it!) or pull out the cushy soft bath towels. Pamper yourself!
  • Give yourself a breakfast treat (maybe a special coffee, tea or green smoothie).
  • If you can have personal items in your workspace, have something that makes you smile. A photo of your loved ones, pets, a favorite crystal, a piece of art, fresh flowers, or a beautiful computer screen saver. I like to keep one of my aromatherapy crystal elixir sprays (like Air Smudge) in my desk and I spritz it whenever I need a boost.
  • Take 10 minutes everyday and go outside. Even if you work in a concrete jungle, go outside and breathe the air (hopefully not car fumes), let the sun shine on your face, and instantly distress.
  • At the end of the day, spend 10 minutes or more doing something just for YOU! Maybe this is quiet meditation, going for a walk, dancing like Jennifer Beals in Flashdance to some uplifting music, reading a book.

Air SmudgeEven if you have a demanding family or endless to-do list, it’s okay for you to take a few minutes every day to take care of yourself. Remember to live your life, not the life of other’s demands. If you don’t take care of yourself, who will?

5.  Ooze juiciness to others

And once you’ve consistently performed 1-4 every day faithfully (just like brushing your teeth), you will start to ooze your juicy joy to others naturally. And the one thing that we know about energy (and we are energy bodies) is that what we send out energetically goes to other people and comes back to us. So what do you want coming back to you? Juicy joy or vicious vampires? You will naturally resonate a joyful vibe that people will flock to you to bask in your joy. And when those around you are joyful, doesn’t that make for a better world?

So now I need you to pinky promise that you will do this, faithfully and joyfully, ever day; especially in these challenging energetic times. I promise that you will notice a shift and that all aspects of your life will begin to flow easier. So are you with me?

New energies … are we all going mad?

I am writing this blog (Monday evening) as the events of today’s mass shooting at the Navy Yard in Washington D.C. continues to unfold. Thirteen people dead and a good friend of mine is still on lock down at the facility. What I had planned to write about today is how the new energies are causing significant shifts. This is causing some people to feel anxious, frazzled, sleepless and exhausted; and it’s causing some to behave oddly and downright badly (like today). So I videotaped an oracle card reading on how we can handle the new energies. I’m also listing some other resources to help.

You are what you spend your money on

Ouch! Was the title painful for you to read? I hope you keep reading because this is going to be a thought-provoking post today.

So why on earth would I say that you are what you spend your money on? Well … because it’s true. Money is big big big deal to pretty much everyone. Money is what keeps a roof over our heads, clothing on our backs, food in our tummies, and keeps our First Chakra survival instincts satisfied. No matter how little or much money you have, chances are that you worry about it.

What I want you to do right now, before reading any further, is to take a minute and jot down everything that you purchased in the past 24 hours. I did a little sample of 2 friends (who were very suspicious of my request), and myself, and these were the honest results

Here’s one more question: Are you 100% completely and utterly satisfied with all aspects of your life (financially, relationally, career, spiritually, education, health, etc.)? If you are one of the rare people who answered yes, just keep reading for the fun of it. If you’re everyone else, definitely keep reading.

I told my friends that they would stay anonymous and promise not to poke too much fun at them. But here’s why I did this social experiment: Money is such a big hairy deal to almost everyone. And where we spend it shows what is important to us. We tend to spend a lot of money on useless items when we feel depressed, anxious, tired and stressed out (hence, my organic cheese popcorn purchase after a 14-hour work day). They don’t call it retail therapy for nothing, sweet pea! We feel good and get an adrenaline rush when we spend money and we feel better. But shortly after we bring the new shiny item home (or eat the bag of popcorn like a Hoover vaccum), the rush is a distant memory and the item just sits alongside everything that you bought last week, last month or 20 years ago. (And when we hoard items and have clutter, this is really bad for your energy. Check out this blog about it.) And then you are back to how you were feeling before the purchase (and likely starring at the cost on your credit card statement).

Money is important, yet we spend it on “stuff” that doesn’t make us feel better or do anything to better ourselves. Yes, a shiny new Mercedes may make you feel better when you get it, but does that elation last? And what does it do to make you the best person you can be? What makes us feel good are life experiences, positive interactions with people, and … (drum roll please) … bettering yourself.

So getting back to question two and whether your life is the cat’s pajamas or the bee’s knees or any other animal’s body part … if you answered anything less than 100%, my question is whether you are spending money to better yourself and, hence, better your life?

Did I hear a faint no? Chop chop sweet pea! If you earn money, it is vitally important that you spend some of it to better yourself. Of course, you still need to spend money on the essentials like shelter, food and clothing. But you should also invest in yourself. Buying stuff won’t help you to live a better life, it won’t help you feel better about yourself, it won’t help you achieve your dreams. It just ends of being more stuff that you have dust or pack up when you move. However, investing in yourself will reap ginormous rewards and stays with you forever.

VV and BDDon’t get me wrong, I love to buy stuff. I have an infatuation with everything Vera Bradley, Vineyard Vines and Lilly Pulitzer. And that’s okay, but not at the expense of bettering myself. I also have an addiction to self-growth books, spiritual growth courses, energy healing trainings, anything Law of Attraction, and crystals (Hello, my name is Allie and I’m a crystal addict. Want to see my collection?). Yes, those items are “stuff” … but it is stuff that helps me grow into a better person (personally and professionally). I invest a great deal of my “fun money” into making me the best person that I can be (and being dressed in pink Capri pants with green whales on them isn’t too shabby either).

Now how about my two friends? They did pretty good (I knew they would). They were purchasing the essentials, but also spending money on items that better themselves (like healthy food, a business meeting that helps them grow).

So I want you to go back to your list of what you spent money on in the past 24 hours and look at what you did to invest in yourself (outside of shelter, food and clothing). Did you do anything to invest in yourself? If you want a loving relationship, what did you do to financially invest in it? If you want to lose weight, did you invest in a Twinkie snack or a green smoothie? If you want a thriving business, did you invest in some book, program or class to help you get there?

I then want you to look in a mirror (walk to the bathroom or use a hand mirror) and repeat after me out loud: I am worthy of being the best that I can be, and I am a solid investment that will reap substantial returns.

Rose QuartzSo as you save money for retirement, vacation, home improvements, I also want you to start investing in yourself. This can be in many different ways:

  • Signing up for my Law of Attraction coaching because you have dreams that have not materialized;
  • Taking an energy healing class because it just sounds really cool and you’ll get to spend the day with fun people (you’ll learn how to self-heal and that’s always a good thing);
  • Swapping out the Starbucks and Diet Coke for a green smoothie or just a class of pure water;
  • Buying the self-growth or spiritual books when you see them because over time they will help you discover the glorious you;
  • Splurging on that gorgeous hunka hunka Rose Quartz crystal because you know that it will open your heart chakra.

Whenever I talk to people who are deeply interested in my coaching, classes or even coming for an energy healing session, it is almost always the money that gets in their way. And that makes me very sad. Of course, if you truly have not one spare dollar at the end of the month for yourself, that is understandable. But then I want to sing “if you knew how to work the Law of Attraction, I bet you could change that!” So I practice what I preach … I invest in myself and you must too! If you don’t, who will?

Live your life photoYou are the only person who can live your life and you were put on this planet to LIVE and THRIVE! So if you are not 100% enamored with your life, you and only you have the power to change it. But you must must must invest in yourself and work with someone who can help you. I will help you. So if you know that something needs to change in your life but you don’t think you have the money, go back through your list of what you spend money on and I can guarantee that you can cut out some nonsensical purchases (like purchasing coffee) and when it all adds up, it will be enough for a coaching session, an energy healing class, or an energy healing session. Give it a try and you will be amazed!

Are you making waves?

When you walk into a room, do people flock to you or run for the exit? When you are with friends, do you gravitate towards uplifting discussions or do you engage in gossip that drags you into the trenches? Your energy (vibration aka vibe) emanates from you at all times. It never takes a vacation or misses a beat; it’s always there.

If you have a positive and high vibration, you’re the sort of person who is generally happy, the wine glass is half full (or better), you can find teachable moments in all challenges, you always land on your feet, you feel good about the present and future, and life is going dazzingly well for you. If this is you, people tend to flock to you. Why? It’s because you have a groovy vibe. They want to siphon from your Good Vibes Tank to feel better. And so long as your good vibe is stronger than their low vibe, you feel good about helping others.

Now if you have a negative or low vibration, you’re the sort of person who wakes up each day with dread and anxiety, have low physical energy and chronic ailments, you seem to attract toxic and life-sucking people and situations, you feel like you have a dark cloud over your head, and when you get together with people, you drain their energy, engage in gossip, and generally send them running out into the streets.

Your energy connects with other people’s energy and like a pebble that is dropped into a lake, the waves go on and on and does not end. So are you making positive or negative waves to those around you?

I strongly believe that it is our personal responsibility to manage the energy that we emit into the world.  If you go throughout your day spraying a negative vibe onto your coworkers, family members, friends, the guy in the car who is driving too slow, and out into the world, you are creating an energetic toxic spill no different than the oil spills that devastate coastlines and kills the wildlife. That energy will impact those around you, who will then spread it on to others, and so on, and so forth. Is it no wonder that the world is in chaos?

Check out this month’s video addressing how our energy is all connected and we are all one. After watching the video, it will make sense.

But you can do something!! With just your energy, you can send out positive vibes, which will then connect with other people’s energy and spread endlessly. While the world continues to focus on global warming, the nuclear toxicity in Japan, the poisoning of our land and water, and so much more, it is your responsibility to not add toxic poison to those around you. It is your responsibility as a human being to recognize that your energy impacts everyone around you, and can travel around the globe.
