If you ask the Oola Guru and Oola Seeker, they will say YES!
The Oola Guru (Troy Amdahl @oolaguru) and Oola Seeker (Dave Braun @oolaseeker) are two moving’ and shakin’ guys who created the Oola movement. They are helping people balance and grow in all areas of their life. When I first met them in 2014 I thought Is that even possible?
So Dave and Troy ask whether this statement fits your life right now: “Ooh la la … that’s what life feels like when you’re happy, growing, and looking forward to what the world has store for you.” (From the new Oola for Women book) If you’re laughing or crying hysterically because your first thought was oh heck no, keep reading because Oola will change your life for the better.
The Oola Life for me started with the first book Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World which raised my awareness and provided practical steps on how to balance and grow 7 areas of life. I was anything but balanced at that point. The book is a roadmap to rediscovering you! It’s still a book that I go back to and look through all of my highlights and notes.
Then came the free online Oola test where you can see where you rate in these 7 areas of life: Faith, Family, Field, Finances, Fitness, Friends and Fun. It’s eye opening because you will see where you’re life is lacking, lopsided and loopy.
Check out my first test and how lopsided I was. And then the second photo with my results from today. Much better, right?

Imagine these 7 areas of life are shaped like a tire. If the tire is lopsided it would be a bumpy ride. If it is deflated in all areas, you wouldn’t go anywhere. But when it’s equal on all 7 sides (balanced) and inflated (growing), you glide easily to your destination.
If you’re doing awesome in your Field (career) but lacking in friends or fun, you’re lopsided. If you’re rocking it on faith and family but financially broke, you’re lopsided. All 7 areas connect. When one struggles, others feel it and it’s a bumpy ride.
Next came the Oola collaboration with Young Living Essential Oils where you can use essentials oils specifically labeled to help you balance and grow those 7 areas of life. And you can enhance them with Oola Balance and Oola Grow oils. So do you need to balance field/work and grow fun? I can personally attest to the power and effectiveness of these oils. When I took my leap of faith in early 2015 and moved from Virginia back home to Michigan, it was Oola Faith, Oola Field, Oola Finance and Oola Grow that kept me steady and believing all would be well. And it was!

Then came the Oola Tour where these 2 guys have been traveling the country in a VW Surf bus covered in stickers! These stickers are from people they have met along the way where each person writes down what they most to achieve and then stick it on the bus!
But now this movement just got even sweeter. Because on May 2nd, the Oola Seeker and Oola Guru have a new book being released. Ladies …. Get ready for Oola For Women!
So I want you to think about these 7 areas of your life: faith, family, field, finance, fitness, friends and fun. Are you balanced and growing all of them? Struggling to survive? Lopsided? If you’re not any of those, I want to meet up with you because you’re a Super Hero!
So let’s get back to this new Oola for Women book being launched on May 2, 2017. I was selected to be one of the lucky ladies to read an advance copy of Oola for Women and I get the pure joy to share it with you and why you must get this book. I don’t want to give too much away but let me give you a small look into this book.
You need to get this book if any of these apply to you:
• If you feel like you’re spinning too many plates in the air and the plates are starting to wobble and even drop.
• If you feel that you are living your life for others (spouse, children (2-legged and 4-legged), parents, community) and that you have lost yourself in your own life.
• If you wake up in the morning exhausted, drag yourself through the day and then collapse at night just to do it all over again the next day.
• If you feel like you’re in survival mode and being asked what do you want to do with your life results in a blank stare because you lost the skill of how to dream.
• If you find yourself saying I have to (fill in the blank with a task) rather than I get to (fill in the blank with something that brings you joy).
• If you have a glimmer of a dream but those around you talk you out of it and don’t support you.
The Oola for Women book is packed with empowering and emotional stories from women just like you and me. Women who are doing too much and knew they were losing control of their life and identity until they decided to stop the rollercoaster.
Oola for Women addresses these 7 areas of life from the perspective of a woman. Because our fitness issues are not men’s fitness issues. Our friend issues are not men’s friend issues. Women are master multitaskers (which is not a good thing) and masters at putting others before ourselves. You get the gist?
But the book goes even further to help you identify and tackle 7 Oola Blockers that every woman, at one point, has directly faced. And to hop on 7 Oola Accelerators that will help your glimmer of a dream become a reality.
Sounds impossible, right? Get this book, read it from cover to cover, and you will end up knowing what you need to do to live your best life. Because if you’re not at your best, those around you will not get the best you. Helping yourself live the Oola Life is the best thing that you can do for yourself, your family, friends, co-workers and community.
Click here to get the book and after you read it, send me an email or post a comment here about your thoughts and next steps!
And if you want those luscious Oola oils, message me and I’ll show you how to get them.
I’m an Oola Woman and love it. I’d love it if you joined me in this Oola Life!
