This is my 5th year of sharing my Favorite Things! I love trying out new products, programs, tools and techniques all year long to help us all live better and well lives. And going through what I most loved is such a fun thing to do at the end of each year.
This year, I shortened my list from 31 to 12 items and posted them on my Facebook page for the Twelve Days of Christmas. All of my Favorite Things for 2017 are listed below! Please post a comment if you have tried one of these products and let me know how you like it!
Enjoy!

Allie’s Favorite Things #1: Young Living Gratitude essential oil
Gratitude has a frequency to it. When you get into that frequency, you see the best in everything and may find that the best comes back you. This is a beautiful blend of Frankincense, Myrrh, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot and many other oils. This is one oil that I topically apply every morning. Because when you go through your day with Gratitude, you find even more to be grateful for.
Allie’s Favorite Things #2: The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
What does the first hour of your day look like? Do you hit the snooze button, wake up exhausted, watch negative news, check to see who’s complaining about what on social media, eat a processed “food” breakfast … then you’re setting your day up to be unproductive. If you struggle with having good habits to set your day on the right track, this is the book for you. Six simple steps that you can do for 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes each. Do this consistently every day for a month and you will work smarter not harder, have energy, and know how you should spend your days. It will set up a habit that will last you a life time!
Allie’s Favorite Things #3: Self Journal
We’re on a theme here. Have gratitude, have good daily morning habits, and now make sure that you write down clear goals and track your time. If you’re like most people (and I was like this), I wasted a lot of time on stuff that was not laser focused on my goals. The Self Journal has you set one monster goal and then get really clear on tasks you need to do everyday to achieve that goal. It has you track your day (every hour). I use colored pens (red = time waster) and you will be AMAZED at how much time you really have to go for that one goal that has been put off for far too long. Because do you really need to spend 2 hours a day catching up on Game of Thrones? This book is only for 90 days but it will get you in the habit of working smarter, not harder so that you finally reach those goals.
Allie’s Favorite Things #4: Young Living Slique Shake
Let’s keep with the theme and get you a good morning habit! If you’re too busy for a wholesome breakfast, this is easy peasy! It’s a complete meal replacement, high protein, packed with essential oils and it tastes like strawberries! It contains pea protein, quinoa, wolfberry, pumpkin seed protein, and alfalfa grass juice. I like to toss in a handful of frozen blueberries and mix it in my NutriBullet. Oh, and it supports healthy weight management!
Allie’s Favorite Things #5: Butterfly Oracle Cards
Who’s going through life changes? If you know how oracle cards work, you will love working with this deck. The photos of the butterflies are beautiful and the messages are spot on. I love this deck!
Allie’s Favorite Things #6: The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon
I devour books like a bag of organic cheese popcorn, and this was no exception. I love the message of this book …. 10 simple steps to make sure that you are surrounded by the right people and that you are the right person to lead into success. No matter what work you do, it would be rare that you do it alone. This heart-warming book details why the 10 Energy Rules are crucial to a successful and fulfilled work and life.
Allie’s Favorite Things #7: Doreen Virtue’s Fairyologist Certification Course
Are you intrigued about fairies? Have you studied them, feel a connection to them, yet know that there’s more to learn? This is an awesome class where you receive indepth information on fairies worldwide, how to identify them, work with them and give fairy readings. It’s a fun self-paced online course with videos from Doreen Virtue. When you become certified you can even be listed on her website as a Certified Fairyologist!
Allie’s Favorite Things #8: Young Living Agilease
Who’s got some joint health issues? Feeling stiff or creaky after exercise, yoga, shoveling snow, or when you first wake up? This is one of my favorite daily supplements. It’s great for anyone who may experience a natural, acute inflammation. What’s the special secret? Frankincense powder (that’s super unique), UC-II undenatured collagen (most supplements have denatured collagen), specially formulated proprietary essential oil blend of Wintergreen, Copaiba, Clove, and Northern Lights Black Spruce—oils that are known for their joint health benefits and much more.
Allie’s Favorite Things #9: DNA in the Sands of Time by J. Justice
All I can say is WOW about this book. If you are curious about the Akashic Records, read this! It’s a huge book packed with information. It was written 10 years ago but the information is very relevant to our world today. I had so many a-ha moments in this book and many freaked out moments as well. This is knowledge we must have.
Allie’s Favorite Things #10: Young Living Abundance essential oil
Abundance is not just about money (although that’s nice). It’s a mindset. So you can either have an abundant mindset or a poverty mindset. An abundant mindset means that you have a lot of something … relationships, health, ideas, projects, work, finances, you name it. If your mindset is negative, you’ll have a lot of negative things in all areas of life. But if it’s positive, you’ll have a lot of positive things in those areas. This oil has a frequency to it that can put you in that positive abundant mindset. I apply this to the bottom of my feet everyday so that I’m stepping through my day with an abundant mindset. Sara wears it in a diffuser around her neck (and I secretly think she pours it over her head). Now seriously … would you rather have a poverty mindset or an abundant mindset? Get this oil and you’ll see what I mean.
Allie’s Favorite Things #11: Everyone Communicates, Few Connect by John Maxwell
With the surge in social media, we may think that we’re more connected, but are we? No matter work you do, connecting with people is crucial. And while most people communicate, they don’t connect. When you connect, everything changes for the better. Another favorite book!
Allie’s Favorite Things #12: Keepers of the Light Oracle Cards
If you love oracle cards, this deck combines so many favorite angels, masters, goddesses, etc. The messages are powerful and are perfect as we prepare for 2017. Definitely a must have for the oracle card connoisseur!
I wish all of you a very Merry Holiday Season and an Amazing 2017 New Year!
